Prekmurska gibanica is a very unique and interesting dessert from Slovenia that impresses with its appearance and taste. With so many different layers, it’s a feast for the eyes and an explosion of flavours that will impress you with the first bite. It combines four very tasty fillings: poppy seeds, tofu filling with lemon (traditionally cottage cheese), walnut filling and apple filling. The taste is so amazing that it can’t even be described, each layer on its own is delicious, but all together, layered on top of each other they are a perfect combination!
