Ingredients and instructions
These delicious and beautiful Christmas cookies are very easy to make and you only need 5 ingredients to make them.
These are:
- flour– white or semi-white,
- maple syrup,
- margarine,
- gingerbread spices and
- coconut sugar– you can also use white or brown sugar.
Put flour, gingerbread spices and coconut sugar in a bowl and mix. Add maple syrup and room temperature margarine and mix until combined. Form mixture into a ball, wrap it into plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 1 hour. Sprinkle some flour on the surface and roll out the dough. Then use your favorite cookie cutters to cut out your desired shapes. You can re-roll the dough as needed to cut out more. Transfer the dough shapes to a pan covered with baking paper and bake on 180 °C for 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from oven and transfer them to a wire rack to coll down. Store them in an air thight container.
