2. Homemade cookies in a simple paper box

You need:

  • homemade cookies,
  • 2 thick A4 sheets of paper of any colour,
  • decorative Christmas stickers,
  • glue and
  • 2 paper napkins.

Procedure

  1. Of course you have to bake the cookies first. You can bake just one type of cookie or several different ones. It is recommended that you choose cookies that stay good for a long time, for example:
  2. Once you have the cookies ready, it’s time to prepare the box. The box is very simple and therefore easy to prepare. Prepare the bottom by taking one sheet of paper, fold all the edges to the same length (about 5 cm) and fold at the corners and glue together, as shown in the photo below.
Prepare the lid in a similar way, but cut the paper a little so that it is about 16 x 24 cm. However, the edges should be so high that the box can be covered (the easiest way to make the right size is to place the bottom of the box on the cover paper, outline with a pencil and then fold it a bit from the line). Glue the corners again and, if desired, decorate both parts of the box with stickers, but you can also draw something or write a nice wish.
  3. Line the bottom of the box with paper napkins and place homemade cookies in it.
  4. Close the box, tie a decorative ribbon if you wish and a delicious gift is ready!

(This amount of ingredients is for 4 cups of hot chocolate, if you have a glass of different size, you can put different amount of ingredients: half, double it …)
