Vegan bread loaf

If you have some old bread or buns at home, use them to make this delicious and simple bread loaf.

This loaf is very easy to prepare, and you only need 9 simple ingredients for it. Its crust is crispy, and the center is soft, juicy and full of flavor. It is rich with onion, garlic and fresh parsley, which combined, create a wonderful taste. It is excellent as a main course, but it’s also great with various sauces. We baked loaf in the oven and we also made a delicious mushroom sauce that goes great with this loaf.

It also goes well with vegan bolognese sauce or vegan goulash.

 Ingredients and instructions

You only need 9 simple ingredients for this delicious loaf.

These are:

  • rye bread– or you can use any bread or buns,
  • almond drink – the best is drink without sugar,
  • fresh parsley– if you don’t have fresh parsley, you can also use dry parsley,
  • onions,
  • garlic,
  • salt,
  • black pepper,
  • flax seeds and
  • walnut meal.

Cut the bread into cubes, pour over the almond drink, mix well and let it stand for an hour so the bread can soak. Add chopped fresh parsley, chopped onion, garlic, salt, black pepper, flax seeds and walnut meal to the soaked pieces of bread and mix well. Put the mixture on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and shape it into a loaf. Bake for 30 minutes in a preheated oven at 200 °C.
