Vegan falafel wrap isn’t just a meal; it’s an experience—a delightful journey through layers of flavors, textures, and nutritional goodness.
We love wraps because they are so easy to make, perfect as a fast breakfast, snack or even dinner and there are so many ways to make them, from Mediterranean, Asian and Mexican -inspired flavours, the possibilities are limitless! You can tailor your wrap to your cravings and dietary preferences.
This Middle Eastern-inspired creation is not only a delight for your taste buds but also a nourishing option for your body. If you’re looking for a meal that’s satisfying, easy to make, and full of vibrant ingredients, you came to the right place. Falafel wrap revolves around the iconic falafel—a crispy, golden-brown ball of chickpea goodness, typically flavoured with aromatic herbs and spices, full of protein, fiber, and essential nutrients, making it an excellent substitute for meat in a plant-based diet.
This falafel wrap is an easy, quick and healthy meal filled with nutritious ingredients like lettuce, red pepper, avocado, carrot, hummus and falafel. It’s perfect for days when you don’t have a lot of time to make a meal and it’s also perfect to take on the go!
Ingredients and instructions
Wrap is made with just 7 simple ingredients:
- red pepper,
- avocado and
- falafel – we buy dry falafel mixture to which we add water and then make falafels, but you can also use store bought falafels or make them yourself.
Spread hummus over the entire surface of the tortilla. Put a lettuce leaf and sliced peppers, carrots and avocado in the middle. Add 5 falafels and roll up. Roll the tortilla by first folding the bottom part over the filling, folding the edges and rolling towards the top. Then press well together to make it stick (if you want to see exactly how to roll the wrap, check our youtube video recipe). Cut in half and serve. If desired you can add spices like paprika, onion, garlic or other into a wrap.
