Spinach pesto is incredibly simple to make and goes great with pasta!
We love pasta and never get bored of it, because there are infinite ways to make it and so many different kinds! Pasta is a perfect meal for the days when we are a hurry or just don’t want to spend hours and hours cooking in the kitchen.
Quick and healthy lunch
Spinach pesto is incredibly simple to make! It is made with only 6 ingredients:
- fresh spinach,
- nutritional yeast,
- lemon juice,
- salt and
- black pepper.
And the best thing is that you don’t have to cook anything! You just chop it all and mix together, or let a blender do that for you. It only takes around 15 minutes to make the whole lunch. We love making fusilli pasta with it, because we like how pesto gets into spirals and blends together really nicely.
Pasta with spinach pesto is a perfect healthy and balanced lunch and is completely oil-free. All of the ingredients are really healthy and contain a lot of vitamins and minerals. Spinach and garlic are full of antioxidants that can boost immune system.

Vegan spinach pesto
- 100 g spinach
- 3 cloves garlic
- 5 g nutritional yeast
- 5 ml lemon juice
- black pepper
- Chop spinach and garlic (you can use blender and pulse a few times, just make sure you dont blend it completely).
- Add nutritional yeast, lemon juice, salt, pepper and mix it all together.
- Gently mix it into cooked pasta and you are done!
