Vegan creamy mushroom pasta
Ingredients
- 200 g mushrooms champignones or some other kind
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 teaspoon salt
- a pinch of black pepper
- 1 tablespoon dried mushrooms
- 200 ml plant-based cooking cream
- 160 g pasta
- water as needed
Instructions
- Clean the mushrooms and slice them.
- In a pan, pour in 50 ml of water and add the sliced mushrooms, then bring to a boil. Cook for a few minutes until the mushrooms soften.
- Add 3 cloves of garlic, crushed or chopped.
- Then add the seasonings: salt, pepper, and dried mushrooms
- Add the plant-based cream and the uncooked pasta (as it will cook in the sauce).
- If needed, add water to ensure the pasta is covered with liquid, stir, and cook until the pasta is fully cooked.
- Serve, and if desired, garnish with chopped spring onion for a finishing touch.
