Vegan waffles

Simple and delicious waffles for a perfect breakfast! 

These vegan waffles are incredibly simple to make and taste amazing. They are really crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Perfect weekend breakfast! It’s definitely our favourite and our whole family loves them, so we usually bake them on weekends for all to enjoy.

You only need 5 ingredients to make them:

  • flour,
  • plant based milk,
  • baking powder,
  • agave syrup and
  • coconut oil.

And that’s all! You can also add some cacao powder in batter and change them into chocolate waffles if you want.

We love adding lots of toppings, although they are already really delicious on their own. We like to add fresh fruits, ice cream or some kind of jam or syrup or drizzle them with lots of dark chocolate. You can add any toppings that you like and make them even more delicious. Get creative and enjoy!

Matcha waffles

If you love matcha, these are perfect for you! They can be a great way to start your day right and boost your immune system first thing in the morning.
We love the taste of matcha, so we often add it to pancakes and waffles. It gives waffles a nice green colour and makes them way healthier, because it has many antioxidants and health benefits.

Healthy and delicious breakfast, what more do you need! While they’re super tasty with any toppings, we love to layer them with almond butter and add some fresh fruits. This time we added some strawberries, kiwi and nuts.


Vegan waffles

Simple and delicious vegan waffles.
Servings 2 waffles


  • 160 g flour
  • 12 g baking powder
  • 180 ml rice milk
  • 20 g agave nectar
  • 6 g coconut oil


  • Mix flour and baking powder.
  • Add rice milk, coconut oil, agave nectar and mix it all together.
  • Let the mixture rest for a bit.
  • Preheat the waffle maker and grease it (we use coconut oil).
  • Pour 1/2 of a mixture on hot waffle maker, close it and bake for around 6 minutes.
