Prepare a crepe roll that will amaze you with its taste and texture. Preparation is easy and fast, and you don’t even need an oven!
Who doesn’t love crepes?! They are great for breakfast, dessert or a snack, and they are also so quick to prepare, with just three ingredients. This time we prepared this divine roll!
If you are thinking how to prepare crepes in a different way and make them more interesting, you have come to the right place!
The basis is chocolate crepes, and the cream is made from vegan whipped cream, mascarpone and to top it off we added vegan Bailey’s liqueur. Since the roll is very easy and quick to prepare, it is a great idea for when we don’t have much time to prepare a dessert, but we want to prepare something delicious and wonderful. With this roll you will surely impress all the guests!
Ingredients and process
For this delicious dessert we need:
- flour,
- cocoa powder,
- plantbased drink,
- vegan whipped cream,
- vegan mascarpone,
- vanilla extract,
- powdered sugar and
- vegan Bailey liqueur (optional)
Put the flour, cocoa powder and plant-based drink into a bowl and mix well. Let it rest for a few minutes. In the meantime, heat a pan and put a little bit of coconut oil into a pan. Pour some crepe batter into the pan and spread it evenly over the entire surface of the pan. Bake for about 1 minute on each side. Bake about 7 crepes from the mixture (depending on the size of the pan). Whip the whipping cream and add mascarpone, vanilla extract, powdered sugar and liqueur. Mix everything together to get a smooth mixture. Take one crepe, cover the entire surface with cream and roll it up. Then take the next crepe, cover it with cream and place the previous rolled crepe on one end. Roll both crepes together. - 20 g cocoa powder (1/4 cup)
- 530 ml plant-based drink (2 1/3 cup)
Cream
- 300 g vegan whipping cream (1 1/3 cup)
- 120 g of vegan mascarpone (2/3 cup)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 40 g powdered sugar (1/4 cup)
- 1 tablespoon vegan Baileys liqueur optional
Topping
- 60 g dark chocolate (2 oz)
- 50 ml of water (2 tbsp)
Instructions
Crepes
