Vegan pretzel bites

Ingredients
  

  • 200 g 1 1/3 cup all purpose flour
  • 100 g 2/3 cup corn flour
  • 7 g 1 tbsp dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 dl 2/3 cup soy drink

FOR COOKING

  • 1 liter 4 cups of water
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons baking soda

Instructions
 

  • Place flour, corn flour, dry yeast, salt and lukewarm soy drink in a bowl.
  • Knead the ingredients to form a dough, cover it and let it rise for at least 45 minutes in a warm place.
  • When the dough has risen, divide it into smaller parts. Form each part into a roll and cut into small pieces.
  • Put water in a large pot and bring to a boil. When it starts boiling, add salt and baking soda. Put bites into boiling water and let them boil for 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Then drain them and put them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, add coarse salt on top of each one.
  • Bake for 15 minutes at 200 °C.
  • Serve fresh with dipping sauce.
