Vegan oat waffles

Ingredients
  

  • 200 g 1 2/3 cup oat flour
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 380 ml 1 1/2 cup plant-based drink
  • 20 g 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 10 g 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • Put oat flour, salt and baking powder in a bowl and mix.
  • Add plant-based drink, maple syrup, melted coconut oil and vanilla extract and mix.
  • Let the mixture sit for at least 10 minutes to thicken.
  • Meanwhile, heat up the waffle iron.
  • Pour a ladle of batter onto a hot baking tray, close and bake for about 5 minutes.
  • Then carefully remove waffle from the pan and add your favorite toppings (nuts, maple syrup, nut butter...).
