Servings 16 rolls

Ingredients

DOUGH

  • 400 g of flour
  • 9 g dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 dl of lukewarm water

FILLING

  • 2 onions
  • 130 g of red pepper
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 100 g soy mince + 1 dl water
  • 1 tablespoon of dried basil
  • 1 tablespoon of dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • half a teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon sweet paprika powder
  • 50 g of tomato concentrate
  • 250 g of tomato puree

DRESSING

  • 100 g of vegan soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of nutritional yeast
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • half a teaspoon of salt

Instructions

DOUGH

  • Put all the dry ingredients in a bowl, mix, add water and knead into a dough.
  • Let the dough rise for 30 minutes in a warm place.

FILLING

  • First, prepare the soy mince: boil water and pour it over the mince and let it stand for 5 minutes so that it is well soaked.
  • Chop the onion and garlic into small pieces, and cut the red pepper into cubes and put them in a pan with water and bring to a boil.
  • Cook for a few minutes, then add the soaked soy mince, spices and finally the tomato concentrate and pulp and mix everything well. Cook everything together for another 10 minutes.
  • When the dough has risen, roll it into a rectangle and cover it with the filling.
  • Roll it into a roll and cut it into about 16 rolls (easiest with sewing thread or lacquer, but you can also use a knife).
  • Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake for 20 minutes in a preheated oven at 200 °C. Then pour dressing (for which you just mix all of the ingredients together) over rolls and bake for another 10 minutes.
