Put water and onions in a pan and bring to a boil.
Cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes to allow onions to soften and all the water to evaporate.
Add soy meat (previously soaked in boiling water for about 10 minutes), tomato sauce, spices and chickpeas and fry for 5 to 10 minutes.
Carve out the peppers and stuff them with the filling.
