Tea bag cookies



  • 250 g flour
  • 80 g margarine
  • 40 g coconut sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 25 ml water
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 30 ml lemon juice
  • 1 vanilla sugar
  • dark chocolate


  • Mix all of the dry ingredients together (flour, coconut sugar, vanilla sugar, baking powder and lemon zest).
  • Add lemon juice, water and margarine and mix it well together.
  • Put dough in a fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  • Roll out the dough.
  • Cut it into rectangles in the size of a tea bag. And cut away two upper corners to make it look like a tea bag. And make a hole with a toothpick in the middle between these corners that are cut away.
  • Put cookies on a pan and bake them for 15 minutes on 180C.
  • Let them cool down and dunk the bottom into melted chocolate.
  • Put strings through all of the holes.
  • Stick the end of a string together and add a small paper with some christmas pattern at the end.
